Eddie brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, with extensive expertise in government contracting, project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance. Throughout his career, he has held progressively responsible financial leadership positions with organizations ranging from small businesses to major government contractors and two of the Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte and PwC.

A significant portion of Eddie’s career has focused on the unique accounting and financial requirements of government contractors. He has extensive experience with Deltek Costpoint and has managed the full project accounting lifecycle.

Prior to joining Bloom, Eddie served in financial leadership and consulting roles with multiple organizations. His experience has included serving as a Controller, Finance Manager, Project and Cost Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager, Senior Project Controller, Cost Analyst, and Costpoint Administrator. He has led both domestic and international accounting teams, partnered with executive and operational leadership, strengthened internal controls, improved financial processes, and supported government and external audits.

Eddie earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing his MBA through Western Governors University. He is originally from Virginia and has called Florida home for many years.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife, Mandy, and their two teenagers, Shelby and Harrison. He also volunteers with Girl Scouts, enjoys visiting theme parks with his family, and antiquing with his wife.
